Rewrite, expand, and summarize with AI
Beyond drafting, the AI assistant can rework existing content. Available on Pro, Team, and Business plans.
Before you begin
You need a Pro, Team, or Business . The AI assistant is not available on the Free plan.
Always review and edit AI-generated content before publishing. The AI produces a starting point, not final copy — check for accuracy, tone, and completeness before making it live.
Rewrite
Rewrite selected text with improved clarity, tone, or structure.
Select text in the editor.
In the AI panel, click Rewrite.
The AI produces an alternative version.
Click Replace selection to swap the original, or Insert at cursor to add it elsewhere.
Expand
Add detail and depth to a section.
Select the text you want to expand.
Click Expand.
The AI adds additional context, examples, or explanation.
Insert or replace as needed.
Summarize
Condense lengthy content into a shorter version.
Select the text to summarize.
Click Summarize.
The AI produces a concise version.
Insert or replace as needed.
Improve
Analyze the full document for readability and structure.
Click Improve — no text selection needed.
The AI reviews the entire topic and suggests improvements for:
Readability
Structure and flow
Completeness
Conciseness
Review the suggestions and apply them manually.
The Improve action analyzes your full topic but does not automatically apply changes. Review each suggestion carefully — the AI may recommend restructuring that doesn't fit your content strategy or audience.
Tips
Rewrite works well for adjusting tone — making content more formal, more conversational, or more concise.
Expand is useful for fleshing out bullet points into full paragraphs.
Summarize helps create introductions or TL;DR sections from detailed content.
Improve gives a full-document review — use it as a final check before Publish a web site.
Chain multiple AI actions for a polished result: draft first, then expand thin sections, rewrite for consistent tone, and finish with Improve for a full-document review.
