What happens when you hit a limit

Limit reached

Behavior

Author limit

You can't add more team members until you upgrade or remove an existing member.

Topic limit (Free plan)

You can't create new topics once you reach 10.

Site limit

You can't create new publication targets until you upgrade or delete an existing target.

Limits are enforced at both the UI level (buttons are disabled with upgrade prompts) and the server level.

Downgrading your plan does not delete existing content, sites, or team members — but if you exceed the new plan's limits, you will be unable to create new topics, add members, or publish additional sites until you are within limits. Review your usage before downgrading.
